Frank studied Chemistry at University and has now been working within the Agricultural Chemical Industry for 25 years. He was born and raised in Stockport and is a keen promoter of business within the area due to his former role as President of Stockport Chamber of Commerce. As Managing Director of Hockley International Ltd, Frank participates in all aspects of the business and complements his extensive sales experience with a strong technical background whilst also continuing to develop Hockley’s presence and reputation within our Industry.

After graduating in American Studies and Government, Dominic qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and worked in both public practice and industry before joining Hockley International in 1994. He is responsible for all tax compliance and company secretarial matters and works closely with Frank Howard in the production of financial data for use in the management of the business. |

Andy Upton Andy joined Hockley International in June 2004. Since graduating from Bradford University he has gained extensive experience in international trade and distribution management working in the chemical and engineering sectors. He has also worked for a top international trade services bank.At Hockley International Andy has responsibility for all aspects of the company shipments from factory to payment, including export documentation, customs procedures, shipping, dangerous goods movements and trade finance. He liaises with customers throughout the shipping process to ensure their orders are delivered expeditiously.

Karen Marshall Karen has been working at Hockley International from the outset of business. Her role as Office Manager involves generally ensuring the office runs smoothly. More specialised tasks involve order invoicing, maintenance of database, design and production of in-house labels and literature.

Mark has a BSC Degree in Biological Science, specialising in Crop Protection and Plant Pathology. He has worked at Hockley International for over 8 years, initially working in the Registration Department. In 1995 he was offered the position of Technical Sales Manager. As a result of the technical experience he has gained over the years, Mark is able to offer specialist advice to customers regarding products, efficacy and application rates. This experience, combined with his sales background, enables him to provide customers with competitive prices and sound advice. |
Melissa has been employed at Hockley International Ltd since the company was first founded in 1991. Her current role is as Secretary to Frank Howard; a role which contains a wide range of duties but primarily involves a great deal of one-to-one contact with Frank Howard. Melissa also handles Frank’s diary commitments on a daily basis and is also responsible for arranging Hockley’s annual exhibition at the BCPC conference in Brighton.

Registrations Manager Andrew has an HND in Biology and joined Hockley International in March 2002. He has been in the Agrochemicals Industry for more than 20 years having worked for both multi-national Companies and in Contract Research. He brings to the team specialised technical knowledge in both Registration and Research and Development areas. Andrew works closely with Technical Sales and, like Mark, can provide specialised advice on product application methods, efficacy and use rates. His role as Registrations Manager involves all issues relating Product Registrations, production of Registration Dossiers, Product Labels and Health & Safety issues. |
